Reliably accurate
Redpoint’s RTLS hardware delivers accuracy up to 10 cm—but more importantly, our high accuracy does not degrade in complex environments.
True low latency
Our patented Low Latency Link technology combines Ultra-wideband (UWB) and Bluetooth signal to deliver typical latency on the tag 200 ms. By using these simultaneously, accuracy and latency are not compromised even in complex areas with many tags.
Two-Way Communication
Send and receive messages via tags, change configuration, collect and view sensor data real-time, and deliver over-the-air firmware and software updates automatically.
Unlimited capacity and scalability
Redpoint’s system can easily cover millions of square feet with unlimited tags and up to 65,000 anchors. That’s four times as many as most other indoor positioning systems available today.
Long Battery Life
Because Bluetooth signal requires less power than Ultra-wideband, combining the two means the best of both worlds—the accuracy and low latency of UWB, with the long battery life of Bluetooth.

Our tags come in a variety of sizes and form factors to meet your specific needs: Personnel Badge, General Purpose Tag, Vehicle Mounted Tag and Module.
Every tag we make is embedded with our patented technology, and every device is compatible with our full real-time location system. That means if you start with a tag-only solution, you can easily add the full RTLS later when you are ready for more advanced features—no need to buy new devices.
Personnel Badge
The Personnel Badge is designed for employees to wear, and it comes in two versions—screened and screenless. Both versions offer:
- RGB LED provides status as well as user-alert functionality
- On-board buzzer alerts for safety hazards and incoming messages
- 6-axis IMU for motion sensing and power management
- Support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication
- Support for Near Field Communication (NFC-A) listen mode
- Long battery life
- IP62
- Magnetic wireless charging
Additional features available only with Screened Badge:
- The Electronic Paper Display (EPD) screen displays warning details related to a hazard
- The user can receive and acknowledge messages and warnings
General Purpose Tag
The General Purpose Tag is a small, versatile, and configurable tag that can track any objects including assets, vehicles, and people.
- Multi-functional call button for resetting the tag and sending an emergency message to the server
- Tri-color LED provides status as well as user-alert functionality
- Includes a 4-pin sensor and alarm interface port: power input, alarm input, alarm output and ground
- 6-axis IMU for motion sensing and power management

Vehicle Mount Tag-CAN bus Interface
The Vehicle Mount Tag – CAN bus (VMT-C) brings location awareness to all vehicles supporting this standard protocol:
- Connects directly to any vehicle supporting CAN bus and may be easily integrated to exchange data
- Tag measures distances to other tags and triggers collision warnings based on predefined rules
- Change configuration or update firmware without taking the tag off the vehicle
- Waterproofed, designed for harsh operation conditions such as strong shock and constant vibration
- Mount the tag to the vehicle with screws or zip ties, no special tools needed
Personnel Badge Lite
The Personnel Badge Lite is a simple version of the Personnel Badge, designed for employees to wear. This version offers:

Anchors
Our anchors form a virtual, wireless, geofenced environment and provide location and data services to enable two-way communication with any UWB device on the network.
They create a self-organizing mesh network and are completely self-calibrating. You can collect and view sensor data real-time and deliver over-the-air firmware and software updates automatically.
Indoor Ceiling Mount Anchor (ICMA)
The Indoor Ceiling Mount Anchor is a full-functioning UWB anchor designed to be deployed indoors.
- Omnidirectional coverage with 50m (170ft) range for large-scale deployments
- Power-over-ethernet provides constant DC power as well as data connectivity when connected to a switch
- Over-the-air updates for upgrading and configuration
- Easy installation with two mounting options: an I-beam clamp or screwed directly into your ceiling
IP Rated PoE Anchor
The IP-rated PoE Anchor is a full-function UWB anchor designed to be deployed indoors in buildings without temperature or humidity regulation.

RTLS Module (for integration)
The RTLS Module has all the location tracking capabilities of our tags in a compact form factor, making it easy to integrate into your existing products. The self-contained module delivers high-accuracy positioning and data communication over the Redpoint UWB network without the need for additional hardware.
The module allows Redpoint partners and clients to design their own location tags or add real-time location and two-way data communication to existing devices, vehicles, and more.
The module is a single PCB design which includes:
- Micro-controller
- UWB radio transceiver with an onboard antenna
- BLE radio with onboard antenna
- 6-axis IMU
- Power management circuitry
